Electra Lazer: Batteries should be charged every 3 months to maintain life of battery.
Wipe blades with an oil and store with the blade cover attached. StrikeMaster recommends storing your power auger with the drill section suspended from a bracket on a wall (please check out our On-Ice store for a storage bracket and power head cover).
Prepare engine for summer storage by performing one of the following procedures:
a) drain all the fuel/oil mixture from the fuel tank. Run the engine until the carburetor runs clean of fuel.
b) add gas stabilizer to the remaining fuel mixture in tank. Follow stabilizer manufacturer directions.
Check the spark plug for buildup and clean. Every two years replace the spark plug.
Store your engine assembly in a cool place.
